Audit department shall have the following duties:

• To review and evaluate the applications made in order to become an authorized institution and education accreditation institution within the scope of the Authority legislation

• To monitor, audit and evaluate the activities of the authorized institutions and education accreditation institutions related to the Authority

• To make research and examination based on auditing standarts and accreditation principles in order to ensure quality assurance in the activities of the Authority

• To ensure that standarts and principles are established regarding monitoring, evaluation and audits; to prepare audit guides and make suggestions for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the audits.

• To carry out any other duties assigned by the President as well as any other similar duties envisaged by the legislation.
